Dan Vogl is an indie/folk artist born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. Originally a self-taught singer/songwriter, Dan spent his early career recording and touring in various musical projects. Seeking to develop his art at a higher level, he sourced mentoring from experienced professionals likeAinslie Wills, Darren Middleton (Powderfinger), Ella Hooper (Killing Heidi), Jen Cloher and Oscar Dawson (Holy Holy) to expand on his songwriting and performance skills.
Dan’s songwriting involves an eclectic mix of folk, indie, pop and rock with the key objective to create a strong emotional connection to the listener. His unique vocal tone an ode to the CD’s played in his fathers ’91 Pajero, with Crowded House, Hunters & Collectors and Men at Work the most popular.
